Singaporeans are known for our love of food. So here's what I indulged in for lunch on a particularly stressful day.
Typical breakfast food. I love breakfast food. Ham and eggs, bacon and eggs, hash browns, etc. Sinful food always tastes the most delicious. And butter? Pass the toast please! Western women eat this too, don't they? Well, the difference is, I don't eat this everyday.
On weekdays, I try to eat nutritious meals. But a life without some pampering and indulgences isn't worth living, izzit? So every weekend, I have my 2 cheat days. That's when I get to eat decadent desserts, pizza, fried chicken, cheesy pasta, luncheon meat, yadda yadda yadda.
We're lucky because food is still relatively cheap here. Healthy dishes can be found almost anywhere. Korean, Japanese, Chinese and local dishes are still affordable and nutritious. I love sashimi, stir-fries and flavourful soups. Sinful treats on weekends gimme something to look forward to.
Our food also helps prevent us from ballooning up to bovine-esque sizes.

I've given friends permission to kill me if I start looking like a swine. I wouldn't wanna live.
Signing Off,
Missy Adorabelle
