I love, love, LOVE parties! So when Mr and Mrs Potato invited me to their second daughter's 1-month (or full moon) party, there was no staying away. I cabbed down to Qian Xi Restaurant at the Civil Service Club along dunno-how-to-spell-the-name road on a hot-as-hell Saturday!
Truth be told, I wasn't interested in the food. What I really was interested in was the company and who I would bump into. No disappointments there! Not only did I get to see the adorable lil' bub, I also met Hsin Hui and her brood, loving couple Sock Khia and Norvin AND AND AND, Christopher, Victor, Rico and Stephen!
Who's a proud daddeh???!!!
Didn't manage to camwhore with all of them, alas. But because it's been so long since we all got together, catching up on one another's news was a priority. We had so much fun chatting and laughing about various aspects of our lives!
At this juncture, it's to hell with pushing oneself too hard. I used to work unreal number of hours. Right now I have better work-life balance and am happier as a result. We all meet terrible people, but that's to be expected in every organisation. What is important is, I have a lot more fun now, both in the office and outta it. This is what life should be.
After all, I'm still a woman.
Signing Off,
Missy Adorabelle
